T5 UVC Lamp

UV Germicidal Lighting utilises the short wavelength of UV that is harmful to forms of life at the micro-organic level. It is effective in destroying the nucleic acids in these organisms so that their DNA is disrupted by the UV radiation, which is a form of ionising radiation. This removes their reproductive capabilities and/or kills them.

By emitting 253.7nm ultraviolet light, the lamp kills 99.99% microorganisms including bacteria, virus and fungi directly in 1 to 2 seconds

UV Germicidal Lamps have an extensive list of available applications for healthcare, government, aquatic/ food industries

and household air/water sanitization fixtures. UV Germicidal lighting fixtures are used for disinfecting air, water and surface mediums.
